The
Southern Maryland Chapter Is Awarded The 2004 and 2005 Platinum
Chapter Newsletter Award
The Society’s Annual Chapter Newsletter Award is presented each
year to those submitting chapters that meet the Society’s publication
goals and standards of excellence through the successful and effective
publication of a chapter newsletter. The Society recognizes
that two of its most important functions are to foster effective
public relations activities and to establish effective channels
of communication between the chapters and their members, among
the Society’s various local organizations, and among the chapter,
district organizations and the international headquarters. One
of the most effective ways to accomplish these objectives is through
the development, publication and distribution of chapter newsletters.
