Vice Chairman Administration - Susie Larson

Ms. Susie Larson has a B.S degree in Information Systems Management and in 2007, completed her graduate degree in Technology Management and Project Management from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).  She is an active member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and Sole’s Southern Maryland Chapter.

 

Ms. Larson‘s professional background included banking and networking.  She worked for Cedar Point Federal Credit Union as a New Accounts and Field Representative where she marketed various products and services for the Credit Union. To satisfy her school requirement, she applied for an internship position at the Calvert County Health Services as a network specialist and eventually hired as full time employee.  Her responsibilities included network maintenance, hardware/software and systems upgrade, procurement of computer hardware and software, as well as developed database for the agencies various programs.

 

In 2003, Ms. Larson accepted a position with BAE Systems.  In her current position as Sr. Program Analyst, her major role is providing management and customers with extensive project management support.  In addition, she develops Project Management training within her department and is responsible in defining continuous process improvement utilizing Lean Six Sigma techniques and methodologies.
